I have a second inetrview for a job which will finally, after many years in journalism, pay me a decent wage.

In all fairness, I earn a decent wage at the moment, but I'm bored of freelancing.

I have also applied for a position at Misogynists.tv (not it's real name, but might as well be) which is actually quite an exciting lifestyle brand. Although I think it'll be pretty Nathan Barley. Still, my inside man says benefits include: Free-food day, where all three meals are cooked for your, extra Christmas holiday, 3pm Friday finish time in the months of May-September and a salary in the region of £35K.

Is that enough to make me put down my Helene Cixous and say "What Backlash?" Who bloody knows?

I should be more upbeat, things are good right now.
